What is Intern2China ?
Intern2China is a career development program by the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China. It connects students with valuable international internship opportunities in Shanghai through a trusted network of local and international companies.
For whom ?
The program is for:
- University students who are currently enrolled in a degree program
- Motivated students ready to take the next step in their international career.
- Proof of active student status is required for eligibility.

• Support with housing, visas, and travel arrangements before and during your stay.
• Chinese language classes and cultural activities to help you settle in and to fully enjoy life in China.
• Access to exclusive networking events and activities within the Benelux business community in Shanghai.
How it Works
1. Online Application
Start by completing the application form before the deadline (more information under “Programs” on our website: https://crm.intern2china.org).
You’ll need to submit the following materials:
• Your professional CV
• A signed Internship Support Agreement (ISA)
• A Letter of Motivation answering the following questions (max. 150 words per question):
– Why are you interested in the Intern2China program?
– What experience or skills do you have that could contribute to this program?
– What are your future career goals, and how does this internship align with them?
• Proof of your student status
• Proof of payment for the Internship Support Fee (as outlined in the ISA)
2. Intake Call
Once your application has been received, the Benelux Chamber of Commerce will contact you and schedule an intake call. You’ll have a brief interview with a member of the Benelux Chamber team to discuss your goals and expectations for your internship journey.
- Internship Matching
We’ll match you with a company that aligns with your profile and career interests. If both parties agree, you’ll then sign a separate internship agreement directly with the host company.
- Preparation
The Benelux Chamber will provide step-by-step support with flight booking, visa applications, and preparation for your stay in China.
- Start in China
Start your internship in Shanghai, join Benelux Chamber events, and enjoy a full cultural and professional experience!
